Furnace Repair

No-heat calls answered fast — including nights and weekends on our 24/7 emergency line.

Furnace Repair

Idaho winters don't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Our technicians diagnose all common furnace failures — ignitors, flame sensors, inducer motors, pressure switches, control boards — and carry the parts to fix most of them on the spot. Every repair includes a carbon-monoxide check and a combustion safety inspection, because a furnace that runs isn't the same as a furnace that's safe. Upfront, flat-rate pricing means the quote you approve is the price you pay.

What’s included

  • 24/7 emergency response for no-heat calls
  • Carbon-monoxide and combustion safety check with every repair
  • Flat-rate pricing — nights and weekends never change the repair price
  • Ignitors, flame sensors, and inducer motors stocked on every truck
  • 1-year parts and labor warranty

Common questions

My furnace clicks but never fires. What's wrong?

That's the classic sound of an ignition problem — usually a cracked hot-surface ignitor or a dirty flame sensor, two of the cheapest furnace repairs there are. Shut it off and give us a call; repeated failed ignition attempts can flood the burner with gas.

Is a furnace repair at 10pm more expensive?

Our flat-rate repair prices are the same around the clock. After-hours emergency calls carry a dispatch fee that we quote when you call — and Peak Comfort Club members never pay dispatch fees, day or night.

Why does my furnace run but the house stays cold?

Common causes are a clogged filter choking airflow, a failing blower motor, or leaky ductwork dumping heat into the crawl space. We check all three during diagnosis — sometimes the fix is a $20 filter, and when it is, that's what we'll tell you.

What customers say

Furnace died at 9:30 on a Tuesday night in January — 12° outside. Called the emergency line expecting voicemail and got a real dispatcher. Marcus was in our driveway by 10:15 and had a new ignitor in by 11. He even set space heaters up for the kids' rooms while the house came back up to temp. Cannot say enough good things.

AC gave out during the July heat wave when it was 104°. Every other company quoted us 'sometime next week.' Cedar Peak had a tech out the same afternoon — bad capacitor, fixed in 40 minutes, and the bill matched the quote to the penny. This is why we've used them since the 90s.

Got three bids for a heat pump conversion in our Meridian house. Cedar Peak was the only one who measured rooms and checked the ducts instead of eyeballing it from the driveway. Install crew was their own employees, done in a day and a half, and our January bill dropped by about a third. The 'on my way' text with the tech's photo was a nice touch.
