Work where the owner still turns wrenches

Cedar Peak has been a family shop since 1994 — eight vans, eleven people, and a schedule built by someone who has actually run a service route in January. We don't churn through techs, we keep them: half our crew has been here more than eight years. When we hire, it's because the valley grew, not because somebody burned out and quit.

We're hiring for two roles right now.

Service Technician

You can diagnose a dead furnace without swapping parts until something works, and you'd rather explain the real problem to a homeowner than upsell a scared one. EPA 608 certification and 3+ years residential HVAC experience required; NATE certification is great but we'll pay for the testing if you don't have it yet. Boiler or heat-pump experience moves you to the front of the line.

You'll run your own route with a stocked van, quote your own repairs with office backup, and never be asked to hit a sales number. We don't pay commission on parts — we pay a fair wage for honest diagnosis, because that's the reputation the name on your van is built on.

Install Helper

No HVAC experience required — this is how half our senior techs started. You're reliable, you can lift your end of a furnace up a flight of stairs, you show up on time with a good attitude, and you want a trade instead of a job. You'll work alongside a lead installer every day: setting equipment, running line sets, sealing duct, and learning why we do it the way we do. We'll train you toward your EPA certification on our time and our dime.
